Connecticut Debt Lawyer Discusses Receiving a Notice of Repossession
Clients often ask me as an experienced Connecticut Debt Lawyer, I am often asked if you will receive a notice of repossession when you default on a vehicle loan. If you live in Connecticut and you go into default with your auto loan, you will receive a “notice of repossession” by certified mail. If you do receive this notice, your best bet is to contact your lender and attempt to work out a reinstatement of the loan by paying the past due amount. I often recommend that if you can’t afford to pay the past due, you can request for a refinance of the loan.
