CT Credit Card Debt Attorney Discusses Settling a Debt for Less Than You Owe

CT Credit Card Debt AttorneyAs a CT Credit Card Debt Attorney, I often am asked by my clients: “should I settle a debt when I get an offer from my credit card issuer or from a debt collector”? I advise clients that it really depends on what the offer is and what the circumstances are. Generally speaking, the further on you get in the debt collection process often the better offer you can obtain. In some circumstances it’s beneficial to let the debt go into collections and/or litigations in order to get the best settlement in connection with a defaulted debt.

Do you have a debt that you can no longer pay and you would like to settle?  Contact dedicated CT Credit Card Debt Attorney Eric Foster for experience you can trust.

This informational blog post was brought to you by Attorney Eric L. Foster, an experienced CT Credit Card Debt Attorney.
