Hartford Credit Card Debt Attorney Discusses Reasonable procedures by the FCRA

Fair Credit Reporting ActI am often asked as a Hartford Credit Card Debt Attorney about reasonable procedures by the FCRA.  One of the key provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act is a requirement that the credit reporting agencies maintain an accurate and complete credit report regarding you. This act also has a requirement that credit reporting agencies adopt reasonable policies and procedures to make sure that the date they have contained in your credit report is accurate and complete. I advise clients as a Hartford Credit Card Debt Attorney that the act also requires providers of your credit report information, like your bank, car lender, or employer, to likewise have policies and procedures in place to maintain and preserve a complete and accurate credit report. These are just a few of the rights that you have under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

This informational blog post was brought to you by Attorney Eric L. Foster, an experienced Hartford Credit Card Debt Attorney.
